Hello, I’m Noah, a dad, and I live in Portland, Oregon.
For 20 years, I’ve worked with smart people who don’t listen to each other. Agencies in London. Sales teams in San Francisco. Around kitchen tables.
The problem is rarely in planning. It’s how people don’t hear each other. How they disagree. And what they do when relationships are strained and break down.
So I’m retraining as a mediator. To help teams with the repair I wish I’d had in past organizations. I write here about what I’m learning about conflict, leadership, relationships, and my life as a dad.
Right now I’m interviewing a hundred managers about where AI is pulling teams apart; what gets said, what doesn’t, and what happens to the people in the middle. I’ll publish what I find.
My goal here is to share observations that are true, and help make sense of them for you.
