Let me map it out for you

Last week, I met a neighborhood mom, Anne, for coffee at our neighborhood bakery cafe.

As we shared a croissant, she explained that making sales in her business was becoming more challenging, and revenue had been slipping for several months.

She needed to restructure her team and reduce headcount.

How can we make it easier to scale?

Sure, I know a way.

It reminded me of a saying from a coach friend, Steve, “You can’t scale a hard sale.”

So, I took out a notepad and began mapping her path from today to where she wanted to be: $1M in sales before March was over.

She’d love to spend more time up on the mountain skiing this season with her kids without worrying about the business.

To be honest, getting to where you want to go starts right here.

As her growth guy, I mapped out the systems we’d install together to attract and convert more ideal clients.

We talked about how we’d upgrade her offer to make sales easier to convert.

Next, we talked about how organic approaches are okay, but we have several effective campaign options that work extremely well to speed up her sales.

Then we talked about the delivery system she could delegate to support team members to run to fulfill the sales, freeing her from running everything herself.

Then we talked about her big plans for the summer and the road trip down the coast she wanted to take with her family.

I need sales to run smoothly so we can get away for a few weeks in July.

It’s satisfying to me to help people identify their paths forward and the resources they need to achieve their goals.

I enjoy being a wingman and relieving the pressure on smart, successful people who are already clear about their goals.

All they need is help with the twists, turns, and tools to get over the things they need to avoid.

So if what I’m saying resonates, know something.

You are not alone.

We can do this together if you want me to sit with you and map out the shortcuts.

You’ve got big plans for next year.

More money, more customers, and more fun.

Eventually, you’ll figure it out on your own, and that’s a slow road.

Having a growth guy on the side is helpful when you want to compress time.

I know a faster path to get you there.

I shot a video showing you what I’d do if I were your wingman for a bit next year. Check it out here.
