Hello friends and new subscribers, thanks for following along.
In 2016, I was studying at Stanford while serving as an executive of a boutique fitness brand. This brand offered an incredible fitness class popular with high-performing women. Our team saw ourselves as designers, technologists, and part of a movement. We believe many people enjoy working out online but don’t want to work out alone.
We viewed our business through the lens of two bridges:
- How to speak with the customers.
- How to make the product/service better.
We embraced automation to underpin both bridges, helping us make decisions faster. By approaching our consumer tech products with craftsmanship, love, and attention to detail, we tapped into a significant unmet demand. We continually iterated on both bridges and with a team of 12, we solved problems the owners didn’t know they had. We made it easier for people to try our product, and soon, we knew we had a hit.
Leveraging technology saved time and brought the experience into the future. It was all about making the customer experience more personalized and efficient. Integrating tech into our service allowed us to predict user behavior, personalize the service, and create a more engaging fitness experience.
