WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT NOAH'S STYLE OF BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COACHING
There are different styles of coaching but there's a common thread -- a coach is someone who helps people to set and achieve their goals in life and business.
Here's a simple way to think about it, coaches work on different types of outcomes, and the value-added is based on a coaches' unique skills, experience, approach and values.
Because there are often questions, and sometimes even confusion, I hope to clear that up here with a simple overview of what I've learned about the different types of coaches that relate to my style; and where my hybrid style fits into the mix.
1. Business Coaching: helps entrepreneurs develop coaching plans, assessing business strengths and weaknesses, and fine tuning process to boost business performance measures.
2. Agile Coaching: guides multi-discipline teams through the implementation process for software products and / or content programs.
3. Life Coaching: guides people who are confused about what to do with their life through goal setting and prioritization.
I help and support founders (and co-founders, execs, senior leaders) improve the functional areas of marketing & sales, innovation, culture and hiring so their business runs better.
I create realistic and effective monthly (and quarterly) action plans for an individual's leadership development and maturity based on longer term annual (and desired 3 year) destinations. I support people to actually think through, and answer, their big and urgent questions.
My style is a hybrid that's rooted in mentoring, and is unique in the functional areas where I'm focussed. My practice is specific to my client's needs (and urgent high-stakes problems to solve) relating to growing, scaling, fundraising and exits (for start-up and midsize companies).
I'm unique in that my professional training (and certification) spans across a range of specialist areas, from performance management, to design thinking, scrum, quantitative research, marketing analytics, google/facebook advertising, content marketing, graphic design, copywriting and magazine journalism.
Value-added: I bring critical thinking to my clients and equip people with the resources, tools and real world know-how to improve their effectiveness, as demonstrated by quantitative business metrics (sales, profits, efficiency, company valuation) and qualitative measures (work-life balance, strong culture, enjoyment of work). I help clients with their personal accountability, and to show up for their colleagues, friends (and themselves) with their values.
